Team 7, Quarter IV

Project 8

A weight pulls down, causing the spool to turn, which turns a gear, which turns a much smaller one, which is on the same rod as a medium sized gear, which helps turn the fan.

Experiments and Questions:
Q. How easily can the fan be stopped?
A. Pretty easily, something as simple as a rubber band will do the trick.

Q. What happens if we add more weight to the weight?
A. It goes faster, but for a shorter time.

Q. Can it cause a little (simple) LEGO car to go?
A. No, the turning fan doesn't blow enough wind.
